American Art in Second Life

Schmonson Dalglish is holding a wonderful exhibition of rare American pictures made out of gemstones, I interviewed him as the art world has turned its back on this art and does not recognize it in real life.  Read my CNN article at http://beta.ireport.com/home/people/JaneyBracken and give Schmonson as much support as possible against the snobbery of the art world.

Some of the best art around is snubbed by the establishment - Jarvis Cocker did an amazing program on the tellybox called “Outsider Art” (it was inspired by a book of the same name he had read at Uni). If it is on again, you must watch it!

And that Vitriano fella (Singing Butler) is still disliked by the establishment.

Will watch out for that program. I love Vitriano’s work!!! Just remember John Constable wasn’t accepted as a great painter by the critics for many years, but Turner was (I’m not keen on Turner at all!!), its all down to who calls the shots, its all so unfair.
