Happy RezDay Hibiscus

Happy Rezday to the beautiful Hibiscus Hastings, it’s two years since she first came into SL and what would I do without her, my best friend as well as a fantastic writer!!  It was really nice today as both Boye and Drax came into SL and we managed to spend a short time at Phat Cat’s Jazz Club to celebrate Hibs day.  Hib had a lovely red gown on, looking like the Belle of the Ball!!

May there be many more Rezdays Hib!!!

Happy Rezday To Me!

Suppose its quite an achievement in SL celebrating your 2nd Rezday, you do see some av’s about who started in 2005/2006, vary rarely though, and you see many more like me who started in 2007, but most people you meet have much newer dates.  I’m still learning, you would think I would know everything by now, but no, I’m still slow on the uptake with lots of stuff , and things have altered over the last couple of years so there is always something new.  What did I do? I spoke to friends which was nice, then I went off wandering.   Funny enough I found a little church, I’m not religious, but it was a really pretty sim all snowy and wintery with deer dotted here and there.  It was called St Georges Orthodox Church and it was a nice place to sit and think.

There are little places around the sim you can relax in and the view is lovely.  It is a hotspot in the showcase part of SL and I’m glad I had a look around.

I’d been over to one of the stores before that and bought myself a new hairstyle as it was so reasonable over there, ETD is catching on big time as they do nice quality stuff for the money.  So that was my rezday treat.

Second thoughts though, 2 years is a long time in SL and a cheap hairstyle isn’t enough to celebrate it.  Today I’m going to treat myself properly, I’m going over to Lone Star Ranch to buy myself that black Arabian Stallion that I saw and wanted a couple of weeks ago!!  Happy Rezday Janey!!!

Clive and Helen’s Swamp Party

Clive the Alligator told me that he was having a party in the Underground Club on Saturday as it was his real life birthday.   He told me about Helen his friend, who is also an alligator, and it turned out it was a joint party for both their real life birthdays and Helen’s rez day as well.  Brie the London Director, called me over to give me a preview of the swamp she had created in the Underground Club for the gators birthdays, and I went over to have a look.  Although I missed Brie, I caught up with Clive and Helen and they looked really at home in the great swamp that Brie had made.

I went off in search of something to wear that was ‘swamplike’ but didn’t have much success.  In the end I put on a dress I already had and changed the colour to green, I already had green shoes so that was ok.  My friend Hibiscus came to the club and looked really beautiful, she had a fabulous gown on and had tinted her skin green.  Clive had his top hat and tails on and Helen had a cute dress and party hat, plus her little orange handbag she carries around.

I had spoken to Captive earlier in the day, as she told me about a great place to buy hair that had a sale on.  I mentioned the party and she, Roach, Treasure and Nez came over later to join in the fun.  The place was packed and I think Clive and Helen had a lovely time.  Of course the newbies were still arriving and you got the odd one walking around in his underpants, but that seems to be an ongoing thing in London now.  London manager Seany turned up in a swamp monster av, which was really funny, and there were lots of swampy outfits about. Anyway thanks Clive and Helen for inviting me to your ‘do’ it was a brilliant night.

Amazing Rezday Party for Kirk!

I had received an invitation from Kirk Claymore and Maddox Dupont from the KMADD Enterprises group the other day, for a party to celebrate Kirk’s second Rezday.  Kirk and Maddox always push the boat out for their ‘do’s and I knew it would be a fantastic occasion.  It was a costume party based on Alice in Wonderland.  The only thing was, I read the SL time and thought it was in the middle of my night, as I often lose out with parties that are in Pacific time, so I thought I would have to let it go.  However, I was chatting with Hibiscus last night when I got a message from Kirk asking if I was coming over, so I had misread the times.  Not being prepared with costumes Hib and I decided to put on our posh frocks and head on over there.

What a fantastic place, such a pretty sim and the giant chess set and playing cards were pretty awsome.  There was also a massive maze which Hib was brave enough to venture into.  Kirk looked really handsome dressed as the King and Maddox looked intriguing in a fantasy purple outfit which looked really cool.
