A Hen Night in SL

Good friend Cutewillow Carlberg is getting married today and all the girls decided to go out on the town last night for an SL Hen night (a Hen night in the UK is when the bride-to-be and all her friends go out and get merry just before the wedding, similar to a stag night for the men!).  We started out at Brie’s home where she had set up some stuff for Cute, it looked lovely, Brie also had a game for us to play ‘Truth or Dare’   Princess gave us a box of goodies which turned out to be lots of stuff in the shape of, well! willy’s (penis’ for the want of a better word!), hats drinks, jewellery!  what more could we want for a Hen night!  We all played Truth or Dare which was a really funny, then we looked for a ‘girl’s night out’ venue in SL.

We found a place called Seductive Nights, a place for women only with male strippers, and we teleported over.  We were greeted by the hostess and a couple of male dancers who came down to dance amongst us.

Spotting Cute as the bride, one of the guys made a bee line for her and danced in front of her, which was fine until he decided to shed his clothes down to his underpants.

I notice Cute did a quick exit to the other side of the room and soon both guys didn’t have a stitch on.  They came up to us and talked a bit naughty as all the girls giggled and tried to move out of the way.  How amazing, just like a real life club, I never even realised they had these venues in SL, but then I suppose they have everything.

I hope Cute enjoyed her Hen night, it was an experience for us all and it was nice having a girls night out for a change.  I’m looking forward to the wedding later on today, I’m sure Cute and her fiance Jolly will have a wonderful SL wedding!

Camping? Me? Yes, Lol!

One of those days again, I got a message from Hibiscus telling me that the person who owns the sim where she has her land and where I have one of my Christmas shops, which I rent from her,  has not being paying the tier for the sim, so it has been reclaimed by the Lindens!  That’s it, you pay rent as probably Hib and the other renters have done in advance and there is nothing to stop you losing it, no way to make the person who let everyone down settle their debts!  It might be a good idea if the Lindens were to make it known to the people who live or have shops on the sims that the owner has stopped paying, so that at least the renters know to stop paying and look for somewhere else before they chuck more money away!   Talking of money, I went to a sim in the Destination Guide the other day called Off the Wall, and spotted some people sitting around a table.  I wandered over  and  realised they were camping for free money!  It was a good deal too, it was one Linden dollar per minute!  I decided to grab a seat and see if I could get everyone talking, as I remember when I used to camp, talking wasn’t really the thing I did much, I think I was quite shy as a newbie! 

And so I met Jackray, Caydence, Hugo, Maerl and Aleera.  It was sort of nice sitting chatting and I passed round the cups of green tea  and cake, so everyone felt at home.  I’m not sure what happened, but I jumped up out of my seat for some reason, so lost any money I would have earned, as Jackray told me you had to sit there for an hour to get paid.  I didn’t mind, the sim owner is generous to give people so much money for camping and it brought back happy memories of when I used to search for good camp sites when I was a newbie!  Changing the subject completely, I went to a beautiful SL wedding yesterday, Dottie Idlemind wed Gold Gazalet and it all went like a dream.  I ended up taking over a hundred photographs while I was there, the setting was gorgeous and the Bride and groom looked stunning.  We had a party afterwards at Janis Short’s HangOut Club so it was a day to remember.  Many congratulations to Dottie and Gold!!

Wedding Vows For a Wonderful Couple

It was a special day for me yesterday, two of my best friends Brie Janick and Seany1235 Blinker were to renew their wedding vows in SL and also celebrate the fact that they are to marry in real life.  I won’t go into things too much here as I will be writing further on what a great day it was  in Virtually London (lite) and other publications.  Hibiscus and I went over to watch the ceremony and it was a lovely event, Brie looked stunning in her elegant white dress and Seany looked so handsome in his tux.  I was taking photos all through the evening and hope that I got some good ones for the bride and groom to keep. 

Pink, Gen,Cute and Barb looked gorgeous in their bridesmaids dresses and I was honoured when Brie asked me to join her for a photograph too.

Joined by Ed and Drax at the reception afterwards, we had a brilliant time, Brie had hired a tribute Cure band especially for Seany as it is his favourite rock band. 

Many congratulations Brie and Seany, you are a truly wonderful couple!

A Hedge, A Shrub And A Thorn!

I wandered over to the sandbox in Hyde Park Yesterday, I had this yearning to build something, although I wasn’t too sure what, I find it quite relaxing messing around with prims.  While I stood there still deciding, a tall gentleman came and stood near, and he had a tee-shirt on that could only invite comment.  Written on the front of the tee-shirt in big bold letters was the word ‘Pervert’.  He said hello and I asked him about the tee shirt, he said he didn’t believe in Lindens so he must have picked it up for free.  His name was Hedge and he asked about how far people could go in the pg sim before they get thrown out with bad language etc.  In spite of his tee-shirt I got he impression that, he did, in fact, have a good sense of humour and would wear that to invite conversation.  After all a real pervert wouldn’t exactly advertise the fact would he?  We were joined by Hibiscus who entered into the lively chat and puns were exchanged right left and centre, I was very boring and on a bit of a roll with them.  Hedge thought he might like to get more involved with us and decided that all three of us should get married.  I decided this was a bad idea as I thought I might get left with the washing and ironing part of the partnership.  Hib had other ideas and began to put her wedding dress on.

In no time at all Hibiscus was kitted out in all the wedding gear!

It seemed like a match made in the Garden of Eden,  a Hedge and a Hibiscus, a union of shrubs, I felt like a thorn in the side of this ‘would be’ romance and decided that a three way wedding was not for me, who would do the dusting and vacuuming? how would we decide who is doing the washing up? it just wouldn’t work!

Poor Hedge decided, in the end, that this wedding was not for him, Hib has another broken heart and I am wondering if she can get a refund on her wedding dress, perhaps we could buy Hedge a new shirt without ‘that’ word written on it!!!

Surprise Wedding in Murray!!

We all knew they were a lovely couple, Rubi Hawker and Stefanos Barzane, and that they had planned to get married in sl one day.  Well I had gone to my CNN meeting last night and the topic was about weddings in sl, funny enough!!  Then I got IM’s from Captive and Tah telling me that Rubi and Stef were getting married at that very moment!!  My head was buzzing anyway as I was saying my bit at the meeting about a report I had posted and I said I am sorry I can’t come!!  What was I thinking of!  missing the two nicest people in SL’s wedding! Ruskin and Stef IM me as well as I quickly told reporter Nicole I had to leave and off I went without even changing my clothes, I was in such a hurry!  I am so glad I went, Stef had been right to pick Murray for their wedding, it added a touch of romance and the setting with the sunset is beautiful.  Luckily most of the Murray gang had made it and I hope they have a very happy future together.  I quickly put the story on CNN as well last night, so I hope they don’t mind http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-153773  Here’s some photos, which Murray full of lag, were quite hard to get, sorry everyone if I was a bit quiet as I was snapping away!!  Congratulations to you both Rubi and Stef!!!

Captive and Roach Marry

The big day finally arrived and CaptiveOO7 Latte and Roach Benelli got married.  Congratulations to both of them, it was a wonderful wedding.  Captive gave me the shock of my life last night by asking me to be the maid of Honour, as Cher could not make it for rl reasons.  I cannot tell your how terrified I was right up until I was actually at the other end of the aisle and waiting for the others to follow me, as I was first to walk down the aisle.  Captive looked beautiful in the most gorgeous dress I have ever seen.  Our bridesmaids dresses were also very pretty and the men all looked great as well.  Little Naz made the prettiest flower girl.  Handsome Drax joined me at the reception and we had a great time.

Hope Cappie and Roach enjoyed their day, and may they live happy ever after!!!
